Phoenix, Arizona / [On December 17, 2008] – Precision Trials has been recently selected by numerous clinical research organizations and sponsors as an investigator site to work diligently with Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials in helping to facilitate the approval of new, alternative pain therapies.
“Precision Trials has the ability to participate in safety, efficacy and complex protocols emphasizing the competency to diligently monitor surgical trials hourly for post-operative surgical pain assessments, states Dr. Steve Wininger, CPI and Medical Director for Precision Trials.
During 2007 and 2008, Precision Trials participated in several clinical trials of investigational pain therapies that demonstrated positive results in the treatment of moderate to severe post-operative pain across several surgical pain models, including multi-center Phase III trials sponsored by Cadence Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: CADX) and Javelin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: JAV).
Precision Trials is comprised of three valley locations, primarily focusing on Clinical Trials within the Women’s Healthcare and Internal Medicine. Precision Trials, LLC, was incorporated in Arizona in 2006. Prior to its incorporation, the company operated as an ancillary department of the OB-GYN practice of the Arizona Wellness Center for Women; which has been serving the community in north Phoenix since 1998.
