Phoenix, November 11th / Comerica Bank recently recognized Precision Trials as one of 50 Top Companies to Watch in Arizona last Tuesday. With more than 80,000 companies throughout the state and 300 that were nominated, Comerica awarded these 50 fast track companies with great honor.
The company’s efforts were spotlighted through the generation of new jobs, sustaining economic growth and innovative employees who drive business excellence. The acknowledged companies are all privately-owned "second stage" companies. Second-stage companies consist of 10 - 100 employees with $1M to $100M in revenues.
“Precision Trials has participated in drug studies that have led to new treatments for illnesses that might otherwise not be available to patients with chronic conditions” states Dr. Steve Wininger, Medical Director for Precision Trials.
ASBA Chief Executive Officer Joan Koerber-Walker commended the winners for taking steps to address economic challenges head-on. “It's hard to say that any company is immune in this environment,” she said. “However, just like when you're fighting a cold, if you're in tip-top physical condition you're less likely to get sick. These companies have done the same thing. They have focused on the foundations of their companies so that they're strong and solid. “They may feel some effect in a down economy,” she added, “but they're well positioned to weather the storm and come out better on the other end.”
Precision Trials is comprised of three valley locations, primarily focusing on Clinical Trials within the Women’s Health space. Precision Trials, LLC, was incorporated in Arizona in 2006. Prior to its incorporation, the company operated as an ancillary department of the OB-GYN practice of the Arizona Wellness Center for Women; which has been serving the community in north Phoenix since 1998.
