HEALTH CONDITIONS

The Physician Investigators of Precision Trials have provided research services to the Pharmaceutical and medical device industry for over 20 years, making us one of the most Senior Site Management Organizations in the nation.

The key to our success is the relationships we've established by integrating ourselves into existing medical practices.  Our primary source for patient recruitment comes from the existing patients that are seen in our practice locations.  Each location is comprised of medical practitioners, including Board Certified Physicians in their respective practice specialties, who are leading providers in their field.  Based upon these specialties, Precision Trials has developed clinical research capabilities in the following therapeutic areas.

WOMEN'S HEALTH

From birth throughout life, a woman’s health care requires a thorough understanding of the female anatomy and can be best provided for by licensed OB-GYN’s.  Some of the more common health conditions which effect women and are often addressed through our clinical trials include the following.

FAMILY PRACTICE and INTERNAL MEDICINE

Doctors of Family Practice and Internal Medicine focus on child and adult medicine with emphasis on the prevention and treatment of the individual and the family.  These providers treat the whole person and attempt to integrate biological, clinical, and behavioral sciences.  Internists are sometimes referred to as the "doctor's doctor," because they are often called upon to act as consultants to other physicians to help solve puzzling diagnostic problems.  The scope of their practice encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system, and every disease entity.

UROLOGY

Urology is the surgical specialty that focuses on the urinary tracts of males and females, and on the reproductive system of males. Medical professionals specializing in the field of urology are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with urological disorders.

In men, the urinary system overlaps with the reproductive system, and in women the urinary tract opens into the vulva.  Urology combines management of medical (i.e. non-surgical) problems such as urinary tract infections and benign prostatic hyperplasia, as well as surgical problems such as the surgical management of cancers, the correction of congenital abnormalities, and correcting stress incontinence.

Urology is closely related to, and in some cases overlaps with, the medical fields of oncology, nephrology, gynecology,  pediatric surgery, dermatology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology.

Some of the more common conditions which are treated by Urologists include the following.
